Modular Lab II is a collection of instrument templates and sounds built within VCV Rack modular environment. It offers ideas and various approaches to sound generation, giving you playground to explore and further modify the included patches. Instruments are divided into different categories depending on the application. You will find all sorts of different sound generators for pads, textures, sequences and more which will enable you to create vast array of unique sounds for your musical applications.
Modular Lab II comes in two versions:
- Templates (free) - collection of patch templates the were used to create the presets/sounds - different patch configurations and modifications
- Sounds (paid) - patch variations derived from templates + Templates from free version

Requirements
- VCVRack 2.0 - requires a beta build of 23volts Morph module (see notes below)
- NOTE: Please note that some of the modules don't support macOS ARM64 version, therefore to be able to open all the patches you need to run macOS x64 version
- VCVRack free modules - list below (not part of this product, available at https://library.vcvrack.com/)
- VCVRack 1.0 - will work only if you have Morph module from 23volts (which is currently not available at VCV Library)

To make 23volts plugins running in VCV Rack 2 do the following:
- download the beta build of the plugin for your OS from https://github.com/SteveRussell33/23volts-vcv/releases/tag/v2.0
- locate your Rack2 installation folder
- copy the plugin into Rack2/plugins
- restart the VCV Rack 2 app

Notes
- recommended: download free templates first to check if everything works on your system before purchasing the full version (Sounds)
- included patches are not guaranteed to be compatible with future versions of VCV Rack and/or modules since they are dependent on a lot of third party modules that are constantly updated
- user will have to update midi and audio devices in MIDI-CV in AUDIO-8 modules in every patch and then resave the patch to make changes permanent
- VCV Rack can be very CPU intensive with some complex patches
